More News of TheWB.com

TheWB.com is coming together quickly. Right now, it's screening email applications for people to join their beta group. Here's some information from an email sent to me:

"TheWB.com team is currently building an entertainment experience that will be the destination of a generation. But, we want to be honest, this is a beta. There are a number of shows that won't be posted until we get the site ready for the public launch (Everwood, for example) and there are going to be technologies like the WBlender that will be added over the course of the test. Please bear with us as we streamline the site, add technology and interactivity, update the episodes as well as change some of the navigational elements. We are a work in progress but we're too excited to hold it back.

Although we'd like to grant access to every one who expresses interest, we cannot guarantee that each person will be given immediate access into the site. Please go to http://beta.thewb.com/ to apply now!
"

Once you send in your email, you'll get an email confirmation. Then, it will take a few days to process your request, and, if you're lucky, you can become a member and get all the inside track.

On the homepage of theWB.com, there's an image of Chad Michael Murray ("Lucas Scott") as it scrolls through some of the actors from the WB. This could mean that One Tree Hill might be one of the shows that is currently streaming. However, we don't have total confirmation on that at this time.

Keep checking OTHfans.com to bring you all the news on the re-launching of the WB.

Filming Locations

We recently updated our filming locations with several private residences. It seems some fans took the pleasure of knowing where these locations were a little too far and were harassing the home owners. For the sake of the home owners... we have taken some of the locations down.

But please remember... if you know the address of a filming location and you go to it... respect the owners! Do not approach the house/building. Stay on the street or sidewalk. Once you enter their yard... you are tresspassing and can be arrested!

Remember... they allow One Tree Hill to film at their locations... and they can easily deny them filming rights. Which is not good for the show. So please... respect the locations and their owners.

The WB is back!

..kind of. No, it won't be hitting our family small screens, but it will be coming back via the internet. The Warner Bros. Television Group is stepping into the next generation of television...and onto the internet.

Now, what does that have to do with "One Tree Hill"?

Along with original programming, theWB.com will be providing successful shows available for streaming.

"Series available for free streaming on Fancast.com include 'Smallville,' 'One Tree Hill,' 'Friends,' 'The O.C.', 'Gilmore Girls' and others. Selected series available on the cable VOD platform include 'The O.C.', 'One Tree Hill' and 'Veronica Mars,' among others, all at no additional cost."

More information on theWB.com and "One Tree Hill's" role in the new internet network will be posted as it is available.

CW Source Polls And Review

The CW Source has released the next installment of their weekly review and polls on episodes of One Tree Hill.

This week's installment focuses on the episode "Life Is Short". The CW Source tells fans what they liked and didn't like about this episode.

Jamie celebrates his 5th birthday with a dinosaur themed party. He wanted two things: a Wii and to have his Grandpa Dan come to his birthday party. Skillz came through with the Wii and Dan did show up to the party only to be stopped at the door by Deb. Lindsey returns to Tree Hill only to leave Lucas more broken hearted. Brooke experiences the tougher side of parenting. Dan admits to needing a heart transplant and only has 6 months to live because of his HCM.

The CW Source wants to know what the fans think in these polls:
Should Nathan and Haley let Dan spend time with Jamie?
Brooke and Lucas sure seem to be leaning on one another in time of need -- is there a chance for a Brucas comeback?
Should Skills feel responsible for Jamie’s abduction?

To vote in these polls or to voice your opinion then go to CW Source.
